When Tree Damage Can’t Wait—We’re Ready
Storms, high winds, and unexpected tree failures don’t happen on a schedule.
When a tree falls or becomes unstable, every minute matters. At Lumberjacks LLC, we provide emergency tree services in Payson, AZ, Heber/Overgaard, Pine, Strawberry, Happy Jack, Show Low, Pinetop and surrounding areas. We quickly handle dangerous situations and help protect your home, vehicles, and property from further damage.
When soils stay moist for an extended period of time, there can be a higher risk of your tree uprooting, depending on its root system and soil structures. We have had, what looks to be, healthy trees completely uproot and fail. There is an example or two below of trees that we have been called out to, that have failed.
Your trees can collapse at any moment—without warning.
What Qualifies as a Tree Emergency?
Not every tree issue is urgent—but some situations need immediate attention:
- Tree has fallen on your home, driveway, or structure
- Large branches are cracked or hanging dangerously
- Storm-damaged trees that are leaning or unstable
- Blocked driveways or access points
- Trees interfering with power lines (distance required for safety)
- Trees at risk of falling on buildings or vehicles
If you’re unsure, it’s always safer to have it checked.

Why Fast Action Matters
Waiting too long in an emergency situation can make things worse:
- Increased property damage
- Higher repair costs
- Greater risk of injury
- More complex and expensive removal
Acting quickly can save you thousands—and prevent a bad situation from getting worse.
Routine Tree Risk assessment
A very crucial aspect of keeping your property safe is to properly assess your trees. That’s where we come in. At Lumberjacks LLC, we can come out and properly evaluate if you have dangerous trees or limbs. Depending on the site, targets, and etc., we can evaluate if your tree is truly a risk or not.
SAFE, RELIABLE TREE SERVICE
frequently asked questions FAQs
Do you offer 24/7 emergency tree service?
Yes. Lumberjacks LLC is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Storms, high winds, and heavy snow don’t wait for business hours, and neither do we. If a tree is threatening your home, blocking your driveway, or has fallen on a structure, call us at 928-978-6086 and we’ll get a crew to you as quickly as possible.
How do I know if a tree on my property is a risk? Do you offer tree risk assessments?
Yes. A tree risk assessment helps identify problems before they turn into emergencies. We look for warning signs like trunk cracks or splits, dead or hollow sections, fungus or decay at the base, leaning that has recently changed, beetle damage, and roots that have lifted or loosened the soil. After the assessment, we’ll explain what we found and recommend whether the tree needs pruning, cabling, monitoring, or removal. If you’re unsure about a tree near your home, driveway, or power lines, it’s worth having it looked at before the next storm.
A tree is leaning badly or has started to uproot. Is it an emergency?
It can be. A tree that is suddenly leaning, has cracked or heaving soil around its base, or has exposed roots on one side may be close to failing completely, especially after heavy rain, snowmelt, or strong winds. If a hazardous tree is leaning toward your home, vehicles, a structure, or a road, treat it as an emergency and call us right away. We’ll assess the tree and, if needed, remove it in controlled sections to protect your property.
What areas do you cover for emergency tree work?
